Dr. Vernon Lamborn D.D.S, PC - Dentist
My given name is Vernon John Lamborn, a.k.a., "Vern" and I am the sole dentist roaming this office and have practiced as a solo practitioner in Las Vegas for over 35 years.
After growing up in the frigid Rockies of Logan, Utah, we made a decision to try the desert for a change. Every visit to the Phoenix area passed thru Las Vegas which soon became home.
Upon graduating with honors from Utah State University in Logan, I attended University of Pacific Dental School in San Francisco on a Wiche Scholarship. I was proud to be the Valedictorian of the great UOP class of 1980 after which I stayed on as a faculty member and clinical instructor at UOP for a short time. Finally arriving in Las Vegas where the real work of preserving and improving smiles and function began.
I have been lucky to experience a great variety of activities and hobbies outside of dentistry. Active children with baseball addictions, football and volleyball participants prepared me somewhat for the growing army of grandchildren's activities. Additionally, we have been avid boating/lake enthusiasts, quad and dirt bike riders and sand-rail fanatics. I was able to employ my construction experience from high school and college in building a log cabin in Southern Utah that is a great getaway to this day.
Dentistry is a challenging but rewarding endeavor. Since placing our first cosmetic veneers in 1985 when the only ceramic lab making them was in Southern California, we have been fortunate to have enhanced and even to craft new smiles for a great many friends and patients. Fundamentals for preserving our patient's dentitions are our first priority as always.
Laura - Front Office Coordinator
Laura has been working part-time for so long she can’t remember when she started. She enjoys helping and interacting with patients...ta|king with many of them so long that the hygienists get irritated. She is passionate about getting to know all of our patients and making sure they receive quality service and attention from our front office. Our patients and staff enjoy her bubbly, positive personality and radiant smile (thanks to Dr. Lamborn).
Laura values quality time with her children and grandchildren. Carrying on her mothers legacy, Laura has been bowling on her team "Dolls With Balls” for over 25 years. She enjoys staying active walking the neighborhoods and is an avid sports fan of all varieties. Her favorite TV shows include Big Brother, MasterChef, lnkmaster
, and The Bold and the Beautiful.
Randy - Registered Dental Hygienist
Randy is a graduate of College of Southern Nevada where she received her A.A.S. Degree in Dental Hygiene. She's been a hygienist for 28 years.Randy's spent the majority of her career in the treatment of patients with periodontal disease. She's excited to be part of Dr. Lamborn’s team! It is very gratifying to her as a hygienist to give care to patients in a calm and caring atmosphere where their comfort and well-being is the main concern. She's touched by our patients' many stories, laughs, and journeys. She enjoys spending her free time with family, biking and traveling.
Nichole - Front Office Consultant
Nichole has been a member of Dr. Lamborn's team since 1996 and has over 22 years combined clinical and clerical dental experience. She likes helping patients understand their dental insurance and utilizing those benefits. She's outgoing and enjoys helping patients achieve their goals of having a "fantastic smile."
Nichole is happily married with four great kids. When she's not at the office you can find her cheering on one of her kids at a baseball, football, tennis match or volleyball game. She and her husband love to escape to the mountains and the beach.
Tara - Dental Assistant
Tara started her dental career at Dr. Lamborns office in 1997 and has over 20 years clinical experience. You may find her assisting during your dental procedures, answering phones, taking payments or helping organize your treatment plan. You can always count on Tara to explain treatment options and procedures. Your comfort and satisfaction is her top priority..
Outside of the practice Tara loves to travel with her husband and experience new cultures and food.

Grace - Dental Assistant
Grace was born and raised in the Philippines and came to the US in 1998 where she finished her high school years. She's bilingual with Tagalog being her first language. She started her dental career in California graduating from Bryman College with a dental assisting degree in 2001. She has over 15 years clinical experience and joined Dr. Lamborn's team in April of 2014. She likes meeting people and being able to help then overcome their fears related to dentistry.
